Sasina Village Resorts

Jesse H. JamesMessage from the CEO

Welcome to Samoa … “the best kept secret of the South Pacific.” Behold a stunning tropical paradise rich with native flora, abundant fruits and vegetables, and pristine white sand beaches nestled in an environment of natural beauty, peace and serenity.

The real magic of Samoa is, without a doubt, its people. Samoa has no military and the police have no need to carry guns. Once you visit a village in Samoa you will always have an open invitation to return as extended family (aiga). Interacting with the people of Samoa and sharing their unique way of life is something that will stay with you always, no matter where you travel in life.

Sasina Village Resorts will welcome visitors from every corner of the world with the warmth of true Samoan hospitality. Our focus will be on their relaxation and wellbeing. Guests will enjoy a wide variety of outstanding facilities and activities including our very own world-class 18-hole championship golf course, our state-of-the-art Health SPA, our spectacular Samoan Cultural Center, our majestic lagoon pool, pristine beaches and, of course, magnificent international cuisine.

For the more adventurous, we will offer hiking expeditions through the Samoan tropical forest with its waterfalls and canopy bridges; deep-sea fishing; sailing; scuba diving; snorkeling; surfing; parasailing; zip-lines; helicopter tours of the island and much, much more.

South Pacific Development Group (SPDG), the parent company of Sasina Village Resorts, will focus on cutting edge utility infrastructure by incorporating new and unique elements such as wind power, solar, geothermal energy, ocean power, deep cold water retrieval for air- conditioning and a myriad of other “green” infrastructure and energy resource innovations.

Our goal will be to show the rest of the world what can be done in terms of building a highly profitable resort community while still preserving the unspoiled environment and unique island culture of Samoa. It is our hope that the vision summary and the conceptual drawings that follow will, in some way, reflect that goal.

In closing, we would like to thank the Government of Samoa and the Village of Sasina for all of their assistance and support throughout our predevelopment and planning process. We are looking forward to working with them for many years to come.

Fa’afetai lava,
